Accompanying People

VBN Season Tickets are Value-Added Tickets. The more often you travel, the more rewarding the ticket. What’s more, at certain times, additional children and adults can travel with the ticket holder at no extra charge. Instead of one child (up to and including 14 years of age), you can take a dog on a lead. If you are availing yourself of this opportunity, all participants must start the journey together. The regulations on taking other passengers do not apply when using the IC/EC trains in the network area (exception: Bremen Hbf – Augustfehn route). The following tickets offer an accompanying option:

MIAplus	1 person and up to 4 children from the age of 6 up to and including 14 years old Mondays to Fridays from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. of the next day. On Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve from 0 a.m. to 3 a.m. of the next day. Alternatively, instead of a child, a leashed dog.
VBN-JobTicket (not for Apprentices)	1 person and up to 4 children from the age of 6 up to and including 14 years old Mondays to Fridays from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. of the next day. On Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve from 0 a.m. to 3 a.m. of the next day. Alternatively, instead of a child, a leashed dog.
MonthlyTicket (not for pupils)	1 person and up to 4 children from the age of 6 up to and including 14 years old Mondays to Fridays from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. of the next day. On Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve from 0 a.m. to 3 a.m. of the next day. Alternatively, instead of a child, a leashed dog.

Transferability

One ticket, various users. Many VBN tickets are not personal, but freely transferable. This means that transferable tickets can also be used by another person within the scope of their validity. The following tickets are transferable:
