Big Nights Out

Alongside the scheduled regional trains at night, there are also additional night buses in the VBN Area. NightOwl (NachtEule, not run by VBN), NightHawks (Nachtschwärmer), Moon und Night Liners, NightExpress services and NightLines run on weekend nights and sometimes also on weekdays. All departure times and route maps are available in the FahrPlaner, the Fahrplaner App and at Route Maps.

Get home safely, no matter when and where you are going

Optimally coordinated timetables for journeys by bus and train from Bremen to the local region - this is what the VBN transport companies Bremer Straßenbahn AG, NordWestBahn, metronom and DB Regio offer at the "Bremen Main Station Night Hub" on weekend nights.

Bremer Straßenbahn AG NightLines transport passengers according to the currently valid timetables, for example, from Schlachte and from the suburbs to the "Bremen Main Station Night Hub". On Saturday and Sunday nights, they arrive there at around 11 pm, 0 am and 1 am, in good time before the departure of the regional trains.

This means that there are no long waiting times for all destinations in the direction of Bremen-Nord, Bremerhaven, Oldenburg, Rotenburg, Twistringen and Verden. Due to the short transfer times, a quick trip home is possible without a car.

These bus and train connections can be used with VBN tickets.

The normal VBN tickets are of course valid at night – but there are a few things to keep in mind.

The NightTicket

With the VBN NightTicket you can travel every day between 7 pm and 3 am the following day for only Euro ###29872### per person. The NightTicket is valid for any number of journeys in the VBN area on the night lines where the VBN fare schedule applies (BSAG NightLines, NightExpress, NightHawks, MoonLiner and NightLiner). NightTickets are transferable (except as VBN MobileTicket).

The NightOwls Service

A ticket for the Ammerland NightOwls costs 5 euros per person per night. This ticket allows unlimited journeys in the Ammerland NightOwl network. The Deutschland-Ticket is recognised at the NightOwls. The VBN tariff is not valid.
