Transitional fare southern Diepholz district – Nienburg / Rahden, also available as a season ticket
Where the VBN area ends, the transitional fare (Übergangstarif) allows you to continue your journey. For trips from the southern part of the Diepholz district to the neighbouring fare areas, the low VBN fare continues to be applicable. Instead of paying twice, simply buy a ticket, save money and travel across various transport areas! The transitional fare is valid for trips to Rahden (North Rhine-Westphalia) and Nienburg (Weser). It is valid on the VBN routes 123 (Sulingen – Bassum), 125 (Diepholz – Twistringen), 126 (Harbergen – Nienburg), 129 (Diepholz – Brockum), 133 (Sulingen – Rahden), 137 (Diepholz – Sulingen), 138 (Sulingen - Nienburg) and 170 (Diepholz – Ströhen) if you leave the VBN area via routes 126, 133 or 138. Changing between all routes is permitted.

Range of tickets
The transitional fare is available for the following tickets:
- SingleTicket/SingleTicket Child and 4x SingleTicket
- DayTicket for 1 to 5 people
- 7-DayTicket for adults and pupils
- MonthlyTicket for adults and pupils
- GroupTicket (10 people or more)
- DayBikeTicket
Ticket sales
The tickets of the transitional fare are available on all VBN buses in the southern Diepholz district. Single/DayTickets as well as DayBikeTickets can also be purchased as MobileTicket via the FahrPlaner App.
A customer card is required for the purchase of 7-DayTickets and MonthlyTickets for adults and pupils. This must be applied for (only available in German):

Transitional fare as a season ticket
The transitional fare is also available as a season ticket. The AnnualTicket Transitional fare is a personalised SeasonTicket for the above-mentioned routes. It has a minimum term of 12 months. TIM - the young season ticket and the JobTicket for apprentices are recognized in the area of validity.
