Ready for automatic digital tickets

Swipe, don’t type. No destination, ticket or fare selection. Just "Start" when you board and "Stop" when you disembark, and that’s it. The easiest ticket option at the best daily price with take-along function for fellow travellers. And brand new: passengers can now also pay easily using Apple Pay or Google Pay. The FAIRTIQ-App is available for iOS and Android operating systems, and can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store or Google Play Store (see below). 

Registration
One-off registration and enter your payment details. A printed purchase receipt does not constitute a valid ticket.

Means of payment
You can use a credit card (Mastercard and VISA), SEPA direct debit mandate (Klarna) and Apple Pay or Google Pay as payment methods.

Privacy
The data is only used to operate and improve the FAIRTIQ apps. It will be anonymised after one year. FAIRTIQ complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Swipe to start
Simply swipe right on the Start button before boarding.                

Swipe to stop
Once at your destination, swipe left on the Stop button after disembarking. If the smart-stop function is enabled before your journey, the system will end the journey automatically.

Easy transfers
The journey continues running automatically when changing vehicles. Also when transferring between buses, trams and trains. 

Ticket inspection
Simply show the ticket in the app. Tap on ‘Show tickets’ and present the barcode displayed in the app.

Best daily fare
FAIRTIQ automatically optimises the respective fare. Every day, it checks which ticket combinations are the cheapest, and only charges this amount.
